~　門柱由緒　~

前面の門柱等は昭和14年に三菱マテリアル(株)の前身であ
る三菱鑛業(株)の「鑛業研究所」が東京 の品川 よりこの地に
移って来た際に構築したものです。
門柱の大谷石は劣化していたため、新たに貼り直しました。
(門校の裏面のみ、当時の大谷石を貼っています。)
また、看板と門扉は過去の記録等を参考に出来るだけ忠実に
再現しております。
この写真が当時のもので、門柱の奥にある建物が研究所の
象徴でありました「研究所本館」です。
